Part 6: Why do the Stars Twinkle?

The royal family decided to keep the disappearance of little Bar jar a secret. They did not want it to get out there may be no heir to King Leo’s Throne. It could start a mutiny within the kingdom. The family then retired to the intimate family quarters of the palace. The next day, the King went about his normal duties. The Royal Nurse was dismissed and the Queen stayed in her quarters with Carman’s little black panther.
Carman’s love affair with the little black panther continued even though she missed her new born baby brother. After three years passed and there was no sign of Bar jar, Queen Danielle grieved herself to death. King Leo planned Queen Danielle’s burial. They all walked behind the coffin, including Bar jar. Tears flowed from their eyes, including Bar jar.
On the day of Queen Danielle’s entombment, Queen Bella received great news. From the mouth of her very own Royal Physician, proudly came the announcement, Queen Bella was going to have another baby. There was great celebrating in the North due to Queen Bella’s good news. Yet there was great sorrow in the heart of Queen Bella due to the news of her good friend Queen Danielle’s death. What gave her heart the most sorrow was the fact she was never given the opportunity to apologize.
Finally, the day arrived for King Pardus and Queen Bella to celebrate the birth of their girl child with a Royal Ceremonial Blessings. They proudly announced the arrival of their baby girl. Announcements went out Due East, East North and East South, Due West, West North and West South, South West, South East and even Due South to the Palace of King Leo. King Leo brought his four girls together and told them it was time to bury the hatchet. Each girl were told to find the most precious gift they could find. They were going Due North to pay homage to the new baby girl of King Pardus and Queen Bella. The girls were ecstatic. There had not been much joy in the palace in a very long time. The day came for them to travel Due North. They all went. The girls, the beautiful black panther and their father. The King, the girls and Bar jar arrived at the palace of King Pardus lavishly burden down with gifts for mother and child. King Leo, also, brought a gift for his friend Pardus. King Pardus and Queen Bella were completely overjoyed by the kindness of their friend King Leo, the girls and Carman’s pet panther. King Leo felt completely exhilarated by the ordeal. Each King drank to the health of the other’s kingship and kingdom. Later, the day ended on such a pleasant note, the King and his girls kissed the Royal Couple goodbye. With that, they drove home more than just a little contented.
When King Leo arrived home with the happy news concerning the health of mother and child, the Royal Physician became annoyed. The Royal Physician loved Queen Danielle as much as her own family. The Royal Physician wanted to feel happy for Queen Bella but something kept gnawing at him. Over and over in his mind he kept associating the disappearance of Little Bar jar with the cause of the death of Queen Danielle. Thus, in the mind of the Royal Physician, King Pardus and Queen Bella caused the death of Queen Danielle.
